Tears Of Indra

ACTIVITY OF 10 NOVEMBER 2011

On Thursday I held “the fort” in Bang Pahan and Pia and Dawit went helping in a shelter at Khlong 16. This refugee shelter at the Nuclear Research Center in Ongkharak, Nakhon Nayok province, was very well structured and organized. Here two people were in charge. We were prior informed there was a lack of toothpaste, washing powder, soap, milk and bread. As thus we had bought these items. Upon delivery at the shelter all the supplies were notified and put in stock; a real good organization. The shelter counted 200 people off all ages. The shelter was difficult to reach, and we had to drive via Saraburi. The pictures taken along the road tell enough. After an hour and an half at the shelter, Pia and Dawit returned to Bang Pahan.

Before arriving home they passed by the hospital of Nakhon Luang to visit the old man we brought to the hospital the day before. We delivered drinking water, milk and fruit. The old man still had fever and was permanently on medication. They said goodbye and returned home at around 17.30 Hr.
