ACTIVITY OF 8 OCTOBER 2011
On Saturday 8 October we managed to contact our village headman Khun Montri, and we coordinated affairs. The submerged Asian Highway was now the only gateway to Tambon Khayai. Khun Montri managed to get the sole garbage truck of Bang Pahan for the day.
We loaded two light freights with proper supplies in which 100 warm rice meals in foam boxes and we made rendez-vous near the Shopping Center Ayutthaya Park.
We rearranged the load and with the garbage truck together with Khun Ot ‘s car we ran the submerged Asian Highway AH1. We succeeded to reach the bridge over the Lopburi River and delivered the supplies to the local population gathered there.
