Tears Of Indra

RESTORE LIFE I

The flood 2011 was a disaster for anybody who encountered the brownish polluted waters. Some are more touched than the others. Though the flood continues unabated and emergency supplies are still needed, we want to start timely the plan to support the weakest group in the Tambon Khayai community and vicinities; the poor, the elderly, sick and the disabled.

Without doubt many lost everything or nearly everything, some even their life. The cool season is arriving, a period were many will suffer, especially the weakest among the villagers. We try to help and set up the small scaled humanitarian aid action: “Restore Life”.

This action aimed to deliver to the poorest, a set of necessities which will enable them to pick up life again. This set will contain following items:

  • 1 plastic container, 1 blanket, 2 towels, 2 sarongs, 1 mat, 6 plastic dishes, 6 plastic bowls, soap, toothpaste, washing powder and 1 bag of 15 Kg rice.
The sets were donated at the community temple Wat Ton Satu in Tambon Khayai, Moo 5 in Bang Pahan district of Phra Nakhon Sri Ayutthaya province on 10 and 11 December 2011.

All donors of “Tears Of Indra” were kindly invited to be present and donated themselves the sets of necessities to the poorest people of Tambon Khayai.
